RestaurAntwerpen, a culinary tour
Citizens from Antwerp have been known for ages as gourmets. Already in the Golden Age, the 16th century, one could find all kinds of foods, drinks, herbs and spices from far away thanks to the international port.
This culinary tour will be a feast for your taste buds and your curiosity. You will get to see the most beautiful places in the historic city center, and along the way we will halt in a few fine establishments for some Antwerp gastronomy.
There are three stops on this tour; one for an appetizer, a second for a main course , and a third one for a delicious dessert with a cup of coffee. (One drink pp at each stop)
During the tour I will share some anecdotes about the city and eating habits throught the ages.
There are two themes to choose from:
“Local Antwerp”
An evening with Flemish specialties such as steak frites with mayonnaise, mussels, stew or … 
Topped with a Belgian beer and a delicious waffle . for dessert. An elixir d’Anvers anyone?
“Culinary Antwerp”
The Flemish cuisine is so much more than chicory or Waterzooi, it can also be refined. Our cuisine has a worldwide reputation and Antwerp’s has a rich variety of restaurants where you can enjoy culinary delights in a magnificent setting. Vitello Tonato, Turbot or Rogge wing …
This tour comprises a full three -course menu .
Light version available with two courses ; starter and main course or main course and dessert, followed by coffee .
Extensions with eg . aperitif and unlimited beverages possible.
- From Tuesday till Friday, during restaurant opening hours. Latest departure 6.30 pm. Not possible on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays.
- Duration: +/- 4 hours
- Price: from 90€ pp based on a minimum of 15 participants, (VAT/BTW excluded)
